Christopher Baker

 

Christopher Baker (Cy) graduated with a Diploma in Performance from the Actors College of Theatre and Television. Christopher co-founded Urban Tales Theatre Company, which produced fourteen seasons of original work, many of which he co-wrote and directed. He is an original member and currently on the board of State of Play, an ensemble theatre company started by playwright Nick Enright, with whom he devised and performed 5 Stories High for the Sydney Festival, Iphigenia At Aulis, and Wilde Tales, which toured nationally. He was also a core ensemble member of the Jacques Lecoq styled company White Rhino, for whom he devised and performed an adaptation of Guy de Maupassant’s Madamoiselle Fifi and Don’t Stare Too Much.After moving to New York last year he has appeared in My Aim is True at the Crown Point Festival and The Lock and Door at Dixon Place. His film and television credits include: Nim’s Island, One and Only, Ned Kelly, The Condemned, Kokoda, Kangaroo Jack, Love My Way, All Saints, Hell has Harbour Views and Changi.  He can currently be seen in 3D in cinemas everywhere in James Cameron’s Sanctum. He co-produced his first feature film, One and Only, in 2008, for which he also won Best Actor at the 2009 Sydney Sci-Fi Film Festival. This is Christopher’s debut for OYL and he is very excited and proud to be a part of this production.

 

     
Danny Bernardy  

Danny Bernardy* (Nurse). New York credits with One Year Lease include: Teaser Cow, The Bald Soprano, Iphigenia Crash Land Falls...,and PHAEDRA x3. Other NY credits include work with NY Classical Theater, SOHO Rep, NY Theatre Workshop, The York, as well as various readings and workshops of plays and musicals.  Regional credits include: Moon Over Buffalo at Cape Playhouse (with Gary Beach), Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Delaware Theatre Company), Vincent in Brixton (Virginia Stage Co.), and Macbeth (Pittsburgh Hazlett). Sarah-Jane Casey* (Somula), a native New Zealander, has been seen in Xena Warrior Princess, Hercules, and soaps in New Zealand and Australia, including Shortland Street and All Saints. Her recent film and TV credits include: Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps, Sea Legs, award-winning Williams Christening & Clear Blue Tuesday. Others include: They're Just My Friends, Paralysis, Speak Now, and Law & Order. Past One Year Lease performances include Teaser Cow, The Bald Soprano and Bed. Recent performances: NY & Regional: David & Ira, The Wedding Reception, Last of the Red Hot Lovers. Love to Ianthe for making this happen, and to my husband Jeremy.


 

 

 

 

 

     
  David Deblinger* (Ed) co-founded LAByrinth Theater Company, whose first mainstage production Nobody’s Home was a solo show he wrote and performed and was directed and developed by John Ortiz.  Then he created another multimedia solo piece at LAByrinth called Shmoo produced by Philip Seymour Hoffman.  Theater (recent Regional work): The world premiere of,  The History of Invulnerability by David Bar Katz at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park (Acclaim Award Winner-Best Actor), Animals Out of Paper by Rajiv Joseph at SF Playhouse, In This Corner at The Old Globe, Moonlight and Magnolias at Capital Rep, Villa America at Williamstown Theater Festival. Babis Gousias (Doctor) was born and raised in Ioannina, Greece. He has performed extensively with the National Theatre of Greece. After many years of training and performing throughout Europe, Babis came to the U.S. to work with Anne Bogart’s SITI Company. While in New York, he acted in plays such as Teaser Cow with OYL, A Flea in Her Ear at Columbia Stages, Vaclev Havel’s Memo as part of the Havel Festival at Columbia University, and the New York premiere of Fetes de la Nuitby Charles Mee. Babis currently splits his time between New York and Greece.

 

 

 

 

 

 

     
 

Danielle Heaton (Vina) is originally from Dayton, Ohio: The Birthplace of Aviation. She graduated with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Emerson College in Boston, MA. Recent stage credits include: Lady Gaga in the musical Shelf Life, Mila in Menny and Mila (NYC Fringe Festival) and Girl in Abnormal Psychology (West Village Musical Theatre Festival- Voted Best Actress). Film credits include Estelle in Richard Kelly's The Box starring Cameron Diaz and Frank Langella, Janna in Chaos in Gotham, Alex in the pilot Alex and Alecks and Patricia in The Butcher's New Day. She can also be seen in music videos for recording artists Just Kait, Emi, Brian Kent, and for College Humor.
