One Year Lease is a not-for-profit theater company dedicated to revitalizing classic texts. We define such texts as works that are necessary, urgent, and durable. It is OYL's goal to discover the point at which the theatrical event transcends cultural and linguistic boundaries. OYL's productions are presented both in the United States and internationally. OYL creates large-scale productions and smaller workshops that provide an artistic and educational forum for exploring theater as a meeting point of various cultural art forms.
