With a new and urgent take on Osborne’s
classic, OYL revived Look Back In Anger for an
audience living in a similar setting to Osborne’s—one
of economic stagnation and political dissatisfaction.
The passion, frustration, vulnerability, and emotional
complexity of the young characters are timeless and compelling
and move audiences as much now as they did in 1956.
Performed at the Abingdon Theatre, New York City; February,
2003.
