Kim Weild
Kim Weild (Actor – with OYL – What We Know, 2013) is a director, actor and educator working in a variety of mediums and venues all over the world including nationally renowned theaters: Lincoln Center, New York Theater Workshop, NY Live Arts, Primary Stages, Mark Taper Forum, Carnegie Hall, The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Goodspeed Musicals, Williamstown Theater Festival, Circle In The Square, The Royal Court Theatre, The Moscow Art Theatre, Teatro alla Scala, SPAC, The Beall Center, Wolftrap, The Kitchen and The Performance Garage.

Her work has been nominated for The Drama Desk Award, seven New York Innovative Theater Awards and four AriZoni Awards. She has been Associate Director to Michael Blakemore on three Broadway shows. She has collaborated with Anne Bogart, Diane Paulus, Tina Kronis and Richard Algers, George Balanchine, Charles Mee, Jr., Mike Nichols, Caryl Churchill, Max Stafford-Clark, André Gregory, Judith Malina, Richard Schechner, Paul Sills, Charles Strouse, Tadashi Suzuki and Robert Wilson.  

On the east coast she has taught at: Yale, Columbia, Vassar, Barnard, Fordham, Atlantic Theater School, The National Theater Workshop of the Handicapped. She is on faculty at The National Theatre Institute and Primary Stages Einhorn School of Performing Arts. She is the Director of Education for OYL’s Summer Apprentice Program in Greece.
