Flights & Insurance
Participants must fly into Athens airport (ATH) on JULY 18, 2019 and out of Ioannina airport (IOA) on AUG 18, 2019, on either the morning or evening flight out of IOA.
Flights to and from Greece and insurance are not included in the tuition fee, but OYL staff often help apprentices find flights and insurance options best suited to them. We do recommended setting up fare alerts at www.kayak.com as soon as you are accepted into the program.
OYL requires all participants to obtain travel insurance prior to arriving in Greece.
www.insuremytrip.com is a very useful website to compare and purchase travel insurance policies appropriate for your situation.
Food & Meals
Three meals per day are provided. Dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, etc.) will be accommodated as needed.
The OYL Apprentice Program is a highly physical undertaking, yet designed carefully to be attainable for all. Along with daily physical training, we undertake two or more mountain hikes as a part of the program. We strongly encourage basic daily fitness activities in advance of joining the program in Greece.
