Richard Saudek

Originally from Vermont, Richard grew up performing as a clown in the circus.  He has worked extensively in Chicago as an improviser at places like iO and The Second City, performed Commedia dell'Arte in Florence, played the title role in Orestes (dir. Jo Anne Akalaitis), worked as a stilt-walking clown in Shanghai, and has depicted Epimethius at The Williamstown Theater Festival.  With OYL: The Killing Room (Teatro Circulo) and pool (No Water) (PS 122).  Other NY Theater credits include: Eager To Lose (Ars Nova), Evelyn (The Bushwick Starr), Wolves (59E59), Oedipus After Colonus (HERE Arts Center), Breath on the Mirror (LaMama Etc.), Dream of Me (The Player's Theatre), Regarding Hot Air Balloons(Interborough Repertory Theater), The Mandrake (The Pearl).  At Williamstown: Trouble Tales for Boys and Girls (by Amy Herzog), The Way to Wealth (dir. Wes Grantom).
